He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Shampack and Veronica Foris Shampack; his wife Marie Grietzer Shampack; his granddaughter Jennifer Shampack Durako; his son-in-law Robert Crofchick; and his siblings, Joseph Shampack, Ellen Wolfran, Lois Koval and Rita Tibus.
He is survived by: his children, John Shampack (Barbara) and Mary Anne Crofchick; his granddaughter Kimberly Johnson (Michael); his children, Erin Crofchick Gryzboski (Anthony), Matthew Crofchick (Rhea), Lisa Wilson (Christian) and Shawn Samsel (Heidi); his grandson-in-law Chris Durako; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Alex Johnson, Jacelyn Durako, Layla Adams, Andy Wilson, Katie Steppe and Wesley Samsel; his great great grandchild Ziva Lee Rose Steppe; and his sisters, Barbara Hanusin and Faith Yurgatis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
