It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marie Ann Pesta of Swoyersville, Pennsylvania, born in Wyoming, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 19, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Russell. She is survived by: her daughter Agnes Ann Rumage (Urban); her sister Ernestine Schrank; her daughter Joyce Pesta Conyngham (Don); her grandchildren, Heather, Alexander, Jesse Conyngham and Colleen Mazin; her great grandchild Leonard J. Pesta (Karen); and also, Jason, Lennette Pesta, Matthew Pesta (Caprice), Luke and Jared Pesta. She is also survived by her twelve great-grandchildren.
Because of her love for animals, the family kindly asks that, in lieu of floral tributes, you consider giving a donation in Marie's memory to the SPCA of Luzerne County, 524 East Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702, an organization she frequently supported.
