We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2020, at the age of 75, John P. Sambo (Swoyersville, Pennsylvania), born in Kingston, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John P. Sambo to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Sambo and Jean; his stepfather Joseph; his brother James J. Pugh; and his mother-in-law Margaret Chorba Ostroskie.

He is survived by: his wife Maureen; his son Jack Sambo (Kim); his grandsons, Dominic and Joshua Sambo; his sister Carolyn Frey (E. Donald); his father-in-law Irvin Ostroskie; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Ostroskie and Diane Mesaros. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

Due to the current restrictions arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, a private funeral service will be celebrated Wednesday, May 20, 2020, in Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Cemetery, Swoyersville, with the Reverend Joseph J. Pisaneschi, his Pastor, officiating.

The family would be honored if you would consider giving a donation in John's memory to Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 116 Hughes Street, Swoyersville, PA 18704.
