He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Dushanko and Mary Moran Dushanko; his son John J. Dushanko Jr.; his grandson Craig Harger; and his siblings, Stephen Dushanko, Mary Swider, Alice Yashur, Kathleen "Kathy" Levash and Theresa Berger.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Lynn Szafran (Edward), Kingston, Dan Dushanko (Heather) and Brian Dushanko (Anne); his daughter-in-law Renae Dushanko; his grandchildren, Will, Madalyn, Cortney, Caitlin and Carly; his great grandchildren, Kevin and Juliette; and his brothers, Mark Dushanko and Michael Dushanko (Shelly).
