He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard M. "Dick" Morrissey and Rita M. Karpien Morrissey; and his grandparents, James Morrissey, Kathryn Marshal Morrissey, Anthony Karpien and Clara Rudinski Karpien.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Rita Lynn Boyd (Isaac), Raymond Appleby, Amanda Karalunas and Edwardsville (Mike Zubritsky); his grandsons, Isaac Boyd, Jensen Boyd and Kayden Karalunas; and his sisters, Patricia Hoffman-Pytleski (John) and Kathryn Ferrence (Michael). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and many friends.
