It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen A. Steck of Swoyersville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 2, 2021, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Fialko and Anna Fialko (Cerep); her husband Joseph; and her siblings, Mary Lapsansky, Elizabeth Husovsky, Anna Mae Shelheimer, Andrew and John Fialko.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Robert Buckanavage; her daughters, Joan Holzwarth (Albert) and Barbara Buckanavage (Robert); her grandchildren, Lisa Holzwarth, Marie Reidman, Jennifer Holzwarth, John Holzwarth, Robert Buckanavage and Jennifer Bilt; her great grandchildren, Hannah Reidman, Hugo Holzwarth, Brendon Buckanavage, Meredith Buckanavage and Maddox Bilt; and her brother Joseph Fialko. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Helen's memory to either Chandler Hall Hospice Pavilion, 99 Barclay Street, Newtown, PA 18940, or to Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 116 Hughes Street, Swoyersville, PA 18704.
