He is survived by: his sons, David Gagatek of Swoyersville and Michael Gagatek (Michelle) of Swoyersville; his grandchildren, Michael and Mickayla; and his siblings, Margaret Swanson, Marlene Danouski and Thomas Gagatek (Carole). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
