With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Kavinski of Swoyersville, Pennsylvania, born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2024 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Kavinski and Helen Trabish Kavinski; her significant other Roman "Bucky" Bakalec; and her brothers, Gerald T. Kavinski, Thomas "Tim" Kavinski, Robert Kavinski, Ronald Kavinski and David Kavinski.
She is survived by: her sons, Carl and David; her grandchildren, Matthew, Cody, Kayla and T. J.; her great grandchildren, Scarlet, Logan, Briella, Taylor, Madison, Audriana, Aedan and Declan; her sisters, Diane Lugo (John) and Patricia Kavinski (Trit); and her nieces and nephews, Lisa, Jenn (Shawn), Amanda, Brian (Peggy) and Joey (Lillianah). She is also survived by great-nephews and cousins.
