He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Belton and Viola Belton (Thomas); his uncle Bob; and his sisters, Barbara Ann, Carrie and Irene Belton.
He is survived by: his children, David Rashid Belton and Aneesah Belton; his stepdaughters, Nina Williams (Shawn) and Rowena Russo (Anthony); his grandchildren, Essence, Sabrina, Andre, Jamere and Aden; his stepgrandchildren, Erika, Allyson, Toni and Andrew; his stepgreat-granddaughter Evelina; his close friend Maria Velikis; and his pet Star. He is also survived by the nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and faithful companion.
