Stefanko of Swoyersville, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 98, on January 29, 2023. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Konopka and Mary Rozmus Konopka; her husband Leonard; her great grandchild Isla Monroe Yurko; and her siblings, Anthony, Phillip, John Konopka, Sophie Patterson, Caroline Rakos, Josephine Cegelka, Nellie Zannetti and Mary Cebrick.
She is survived by: her children, Maryann Yurko (Emery Yurko III) and Ralph Stefanko (Elaine); her grandchild Emery Yurko IV (Jill); her children, Rebecca Yurko Reinert (Matthew) and Kevin Yurko (Erin); and her great grandchildren, Nora, Paige, Ella, Emery V, Rowan, Henry and Sloane Yurko. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Their kindness helped Anna endure the fears and loneliness arising from the pandemic, and the compassion and respect they bestowed upon Anna and her family made the end of her life easier.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Anna's memory to the Osterhout Free Library, 71 South Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701; Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 53 Glenmaura National Boulevard, Suite 120, Moosic, PA 18507; or to a charity or church of the donors choosing.
