James T. Kukunas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James T. Kukunas (Swissvale, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore and Pelagia; and his son Theodore. He is survived by: his wife Anna; his children, Dr. Steve Kukunas (Anastasia) of Pittsburgh and Pelagia Makricostas (James) of Weirton, WV; and his grandchildren, James T. Kukunas (Riley), James S. Kukunas, Dr. Paul Kukunas (Ashley), Eugenia Makricostas, Stephen Kukunas, Anna Makricostas and Annette Piper (Ian). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family asks that all donations be made in his name to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 419 South Dithridge Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.
