He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale and Pasqualina; his sibling Armondo; and his sibling-in-law Ilario Dichiera. He is survived by: his wife Rosetta Dichiera Simonetta; his sons, Vincenzo Simonetta (Michele) and Ilario Simonetta (Kerry); his grandchildren, Alexander, Antonio, Dominic, Aries, Ahna, Lorenzo, Michael and Matthew; his brother Vincenzo; and his sisters-in-law, Maria Simonetta, Rosetta Simonetta and Theresa Dichiera. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas L. Nied Funeral Home (7441 Washington Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15218). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anselm Church (7446 McClure Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15218).
