She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurie Powell and Ruth Powell; and her daughter Jennifer. She is survived by: her husband John S. Henshaw; her daughter Katharine DeMent (Katy); her grandchildren, Zach, Tori and Spencer; her aunts, Margie Sherrill, Lenora Sherrill and Shirley Branch; her pet Sam; and also, Beverly Powell, Michael and Leigh Ann.
