It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winifred S Below of Swiftwater, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 14, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar T. Scherf and Anna L. Scherf; and her siblings, Rudolph and Elizabeth. She is survived by: her husband Max K. Below; her friend Donna Denninger; her sons, Robert (Linda) of Bartonsville and William (Anna) of Scotrun; her grandchildren, Shaun Below, Sally Below, Anna Bilby, Susan Below, Steven Below, Scott Below and Laura Mattison; her great grandchildren, Max, Mitchell, Wynne, Magnus, Stratton, Cody and Travis; her nieces, Terri, Christina and Dori; and her nephew Rick.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church Endowment Fund or to a charity of your choice.
