Doris M. Frailey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris M. Frailey of Swiftwater, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 23, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris M. Frailey to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas, Sr. Meckes and Dorothy Meckes (Luton) of Long Pond, PA.; her husband Frank; and her siblings, Marlene Kovalesky, Harry, Eugene and Richard Meckes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Shearer (Geoff) and Tina Abert (Grant); her siblings, Thomas Meckes (late Patricia), Rose Simon (Edward) and Ruth Meckes; her sisters-in-law, Barbara Meckes (late Harry), Barbara Dull (Frailey) and Cindy Frailey; and her close friend Mildred Rinker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Community Lutheran Church (242 Miller Road, Appenzell, PA). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
