He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sobers and Gertrude Sobers; and his sister Shirley Dompkosky. He is survived by: his wife Carol Smith; his children, Robert James, Ann Sprouse, Jackie Filetti, Tammy Warrensford, Tracy Jansen and Christel Booth; and his brother Glenn Sobers. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; 1 niece and 2 nephews.
