He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah Lovell and Della Mae Coleman Lovell; his wife Beatrice Lovell; his son Terrence Kevin Lovell; and his grandson Nicholas.
He is survived by: his children, William J. Lovell Jr. of San Diego, CA, John T. Lovell (Margaret) of Swarthmore, PA and Linda Marie Hockman of Ocean View, DE; and his grandchildren, Mackenzie, William, Joshua, Chad Jr., Madison, Robert and Erin.
