He is survived by: his wife Nancy Helms; his children, Lori Barrow (Bret), Dana Helms, Cindy Maher (late Len), Brian Huss (Nancy) and Craig Stephens (Frani); and his brother William E. Helms, Jr. (Kitty). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
