We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2019, Joseph J. Murphy (Swarthmore, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marie; his siblings, Jim and Patricia; his children, Karen Murphy, Joseph Murphy Jr. (Murph), Cathy Bean (Jim) and Paul Murphy; and his parents, Joe and Catherine. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations in Joe's name be made to the Special Olympics Foundation.
