We are sad to announce that on December 21, 2024, at the age of 91, Joseph E. Volpone (Swarthmore, Pennsylvania), born in Clifton Heights, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonso Volpone and Mary Volpone (Charlino); his wife Jean Rose Volpone (Greto); and his brothers, Daniel (Ester), Anthony (Rita), Alphonso Jr. (Flossie), Vincent (Peggy) and Nick (Beth).
He is survived by: his brother John (Joan) of Hawaii; his sons, Joseph (Virginia Cassels), Jay (Tammy Zuppo) and James (Lori Fucci); and his grandchildren, Jenna Mongan (Joe), Victor Volpone, Jay Paul Volpone Jr., Gianna Volpone, Nicholas Volpone, Charlotte Rose Mongan, Lucas John Mongan and Emilia Volpone.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Notre Dame de Lourdes Church (990 Fairview Rd, Swarthmore, PA 19081). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can made to Riddle Hospital, 3 South Medsurge/Hospice, 1068 W. Baltimore Pike, Media, Pa. 19063.
