It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Mae McDowell Hatala (Swarthmore, Pennsylvania), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 21, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Hatala; and her sister Helen Fry. She is survived by: her stepmother Helen McDowell (Mercer); her children, Walter Jr., Nicholas Hatala (Joanne), Michael Hatala, Diane Lombardo (Anthony) and William Hatala (Kemp); and her grandchildren, Jaclyn Hatala Matthes, Kevin Hatala (Erin Marie), Caryn Lombardo (Simon), Stephanie Lombardo (Luis), Anthony Lombardo and Michael Hatala. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
