He is survived by: his wife Sharon M. Searles Begley; his children, Kristin Gaffney (James) and Charles Christopher Begley, Jr. (Alexis); and his grandchildren, Joey, Kara, Justin Gaffney and Charles Christopher "Charlie" Begley III. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
