He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Arthur and Mildred Arthur (Dix); his children, Debbie Norris (Don) and Donald Arthur (Frances); his brothers, Warrick (Bert) and Charles (Sharon); and his brothers-in-law, Gary Cowperthwait and Lloyd Colpitts.

He is survived by: his wife Joan (Cowperthwait); his daughter Denise Murphy; and his sister-in-law Marion Colpitts.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church 1361 Main St. Susquehanna, PA or the Susquehanna Fire Department, P.O. Box 175 Susquehanna, PA 18847.
