He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Moffit and Pauline Moffit (Gimera). He is survived by: his wife Debra L. (Reider); his brother Fred Moffit (Pamela) of Camp Hill; his nieces and nephews, Kristel Klessinger (John) and Kurt Moffit (Erin); his mother-in-law Arlene Reider of Palmyra; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Stoneberg (Kelly) of Hummelstown and Jeffrey Reider (Laurie) of Everett; and his nephews, Jeffrey P. Reider (Marissa) and Joshua Reider.
