She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Rohacek and Melissa Rohacek (Funk); her husband Marlin L. Mateer; and her siblings, Andrew G., Thomas F., Jacob L., Joseph M., Ellen Pugh, Lillie Thorn, Beverly Eichelberger, Patricia Coleman and Lucy Coleman.
She is survived by: her son Scott.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hetrick-Bitner Funeral Home (3125 Walnut St, Harrisburg, PA 17109). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in memory of Nancy Mateer to support the causes and activities she held dear. Contributions can be directed to Scott A. Mateer for disbursement, allowing us to focus on honoring her legacy by supporting the causes and activities she cherished.
