He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay A. Sherk and Katie G. Sherk (Stauffer); his wife Olga Sherk (Troyan); his brother Jay E. Sherk; and his sister-in-law Janet Lehman Sherk.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Lee (Larry Groff) of Manheim, Sandra Lee (Larry Johns) of Manheim, Glenn W. (Jane Enck Sherk) of Mount Joy, James C. (Kim Frey Sherk) of Manheim, Donna C. Sherk of Carlisle and David B. Sherk of Manheim; and his siblings, Morris N. Sherk of Mechanicsburg, Anna R. (John Kibler) of Columbia and Mary Arlene Foster. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sheetz Funeral Home (16 E Main St, Mount Joy, PA 17552). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sheetz Funeral Home, Inc. (16 E Main St, Mount Joy, PA 17552).
