With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marcella Lena Whitney of Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2025 at the age of 99. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Jayne and Mildred Jayne (Smith); her son Gary Whitney; her husband Carl Whitney; and her sister Musette.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Marcho (Whitney) of Gibson, PA and Kathy Whitney of Honesdale, PA; her grandchildren, Jenni Marcho (Tom Cox) of Peckville, PA and Bradley Marcho (Michelle) of Gibson, PA; and her great grandchildren, Racheal, Olivia and Halle Marcho. She is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marcella's honor to the Barnes-Kasson Nursing Facility Activity Room, 2872 Turnpike St., Susquehanna, PA 18847.
