He was predeceased by: his mother Ann Shay; and his adoptive father Joseph. He is survived by: his significant other Tina Monks; his children, Kevin Sylvester, Natasha Bishop, Kristy Welch and Brooke Morrison; and his siblings, Nate Shay, Joseph Halstead, Steve Lovenduski and Lisa Bibalo. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
