He is survived by: his parents, Rodney Holtzapple of Mifflinburg, PA and Patsy Miller (Holtzapple) of Yoe; his wife Jennie; his son Harrison; his sister Tara Moore of Dallastown; and his nieces, Courtney Snell of Dover and Jade Gross of Dallastown.

In lieu of flowers, a scholarship fund has been established in Scott's name with contributions payable to Mansfield University, in care of the Mansfield University Controller, 31 S. Academy Street, Mansfield, PA 16933.
