He was predeceased by: his parents, Benson Ray and Catherine M. Herman (Metzger); and his brothers, William and James Herman. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte A. Woomer; his son Robert J., Jr.; his daughter-in-law Susan M. Herman of Sunbury; his daughter Julie A.; his son-in-law Cloyd G. Campbell of Northumberland; his grandchildren, Angela Kearney (Kevin), Tara Russo (Michael), Matthew Campbell, Robert Herman III (Katie) and Jessica Deibler (Jentre); his great grandchildren, Caitlin, Allison, Emma, Lucas, Ethan, Weston and Hudson; and his siblings, John Herman of Sunbury, Terry (Connie Herman) and June Sarfine of Sunbury. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
