He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Shamp and Cardella Shamp (Brosious); his wife Carol M. Gamble; and his siblings, Charles and Alice.
He is survived by: his son David P.; his daughter-in-law Margaret M. Shamp of Liverpool; his daughter Debra M. Shamp of Milton; his grandchildren, Ryan D., Andrew P. Shamp, David K. and Jonathan M. Lauver; and his great grandchildren, Lynley, Raelin, Peyton, Aubrey, Brynley, Connor, Khloe and Violet.
