She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Wiest and Hazel Wiest (Paul); her husband Richard C. Thurston; her son Steven Thurston; and her sister Nancy.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Thurston and Deborah Fisher; her grandchildren, Shaye Currie, Elizabeth Adams (Tommy) and Ian Marshall (Lisa Raup); her great grandchildren, Nina, Carson and Ambry; and her pets, Gus and Jasper.
