He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Smerroskie and Kathryn Smerroskie (Novic); and his siblings, George Sims, Mary Cecelia Flynn, Dorothy Williams and Marcella Hombosky.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Grace "Dolly" Smerroskie (Klinepeter); his son Stan Lee; his daughter-in-law Sarah Tucker of Florida; his daughter Dawn Ebersole; his son-in-law Doug Compton of Kentucky; his stepchildren, Tim Delong of Florida and Kim Delong of Pennsylvania; and his grandsons, Sabian and Cameron of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by seven step-grandchildren, his many step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
