Peter P. Matyascik Obituary
We bid farewell to Peter P. Matyascik in Summit Hill, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 8, 2025 at the age of 92. Peter touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter G. Matyascik and Anna Matyascik (Ochran); his wife Fay A. Whitehead (Whitehead); his siblings, Mary Makara and Joseph; his brother-in-law Michael Makara; and his children-in-law, Marianne McGinley and Joseph S. Tessitore.
He is survived by: his children, Peter D. Matyascik (Debra Reiber) of Summit Hill, Gregory J Matyascik of Nesquehoning and Victoria J. Tessitore of Jim Thorpe; and his brother Bernard (Nancy). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Parish (462 W Ludlow St, Summit Hill, PA 18250). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
