With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Patrick Sommers of Summit Hill, Pennsylvania, born in Coaldale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 25, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick T. Sommers and Helen V. Sommers (Bell); and his brother Francis Sommers. He is survived by: his daughters, Colleen M. (Jorge A. Acevedo) and Melissa A. Sommers (Robert M. Breslin) of Summit Hill; his grandchildren, Aidan Joseph Acevedo, Caroline Colleen Breslin, Isabella Emily Lauren Acevedo and Kathryn Maryn Breslin; and his brother Louis Sommers (Barbara) of Summit Hill. He is also survived by several nephews, a niece, and cousins.
