He was predeceased by: his wife Lois E. Ciavaglia (Ellis); his parents, Antonio Ciavaglia and Catherine Ciavaglia (Laskos); his children, James Ciavaglia and Joanne Ciavaglia; and his siblings, John Ciavaglia, Robert Ciavaglia and Gerri Petro.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Ciavaglia (Terry) of Jim Thorpe and Donna Boruta (Thomas) of Towamensing Twp; his brothers, Salvatore Ciavaglia of Asbury Park, NJ, Carmen Ciavaglia (Shirley) of Mahoning Valley and Michael Ciavaglia of Lehighton; his grandchildren, Heather Berger (Brent) and David Boruta (Faith); and his great grandchildren, Vera Berger, Naomi James Berger and Audrey Boruta.
