He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; and his brothers, Harold, Edgar, John F. Davis and Daniel Clemmens.

He is survived by: his daughters, Georgiann, Linda Mitchalk (Louis) and Summit Hill; his grandchildren, Louis M. Mitchalk, Summit Hill, Lindsey Kern (Michael) and Chester Heights; and his sister-in-law Pearl Davis of Tamaqua. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
