He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Reed and Martha Maria Byerly (Kiehl); his wife Mildred Louise Hoffman; his son-in-law Clifford Heschke; and his siblings, Charles, William, Ralph, Russell and Carrie Brosius.
He is survived by: his daughter Joanne Heschke; his grandchildren, Mike Heschke (Brenda) and Karen Young (Bob); his great grandchildren, Nicholas Heschke (Jillian), Shane Heschke, Jared Heschke (Alyssa), Alex Young, Kelsey Young and Tyler Young; and his great great grandchildren, Alice, Emma, Calvin, Nora, Burke and Graham.
