He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester E. McMillen and Rose M. Wolfe McMillen; his wife Geraldine M. "Gerry" Bauer; and his siblings, Thomas, Newt, Dorothy Lander, Jane Collett and Ruth Shingledecker.
He is survived by: his children, Susanne McMillen, Theresa McMillen of Clarion, Stephanie Oates (Blaise) of Tinley Park, Illinois and Patrick McMillen (Karen) of Summerville; and his grandsons, Benjamin, Jacob McMillen, Lucas, Jordan and Tyler Oates.
