He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Anna Planutis, Sr. (Marcinkus). He is survived by: his siblings, Dorothy Henry and Gerald Planutis; his wife Regina Kapes; and his children, William A. Planutis, III, Jeffrey Planutis (Cindy), Terri Mock (Robert) and Donna Denial of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
