He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Simon and Margaret Simon. He is survived by: his wife Debra Simon (Stephens); his children, Shannon Clark of Lakeville, MN, Stephanie Fryer, Dana Petersen of Alden, MN, Kathy Fryer of Austin, MN and Steven Simon Jr. of Austin, MN; his brother Virgil Eggers of Austin, MN; and his sisters-in-law, Susan Schulz and Marylou Stephens of Reskin, FL. He is also survived by nine grand-children; five great grand-children.
