She is survived by: her children, Derek Elsom, Douglas Elsom, Darrin Elsom and Deirdre Cibak (James); her grandchildren, Kyle Cibak (Caroline), Kristen Cibak and Kevin Cibak; and her brother Leon Simmons (Melvina). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
