The memory of Regina Planutis of Sugarloaf, Pennsylvania, born in West Hazleton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 28, 2024 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Kapes and Irene Kapes (Drosdick); her husband William A. Planutis; and her siblings, Alfred, Martin, Theodore, Stella, Florence, Clara, Edward Kapes, Gertrude Sundra, Beatrice Harris, Eleanore McCune and Irma Goodyear.
She is survived by: her children, William A. Planutis, III of Sugarloaf, Jeffrey Planutis (Cindy) of Sugarloaf, Terri Mock (Robert) of Sugarloaf and Donna Denial (Kevin Lee) of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a great-great granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Saint John Bosco RC Church (573 PA-93, Sugarloaf, PA 18249). A burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at the Sacred Heart RC Cemetery.
