With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joseph Marushin of Sugarloaf, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Marushin and Anna Marushin (Lipka); and his siblings, Margaret Tarnovecky and John Marushin. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Bogwist; his children, Elizabeth "Liz" Marushin, Jo Ann Kearon (Brian), John Marushin (Tammy) and Tom Marushin; his grandchildren, Ryan Starrick (Lisa), Amanda Starrick, Patrick Kearon (Ellen Cahill) and Joseph Marushin; and his sisters, Pauline Zabitchuck of Rochester, NY, Helen Mandrick of Rochester, NY, Susan Falatko (Hazle Twp), Irene Slebodnick (Joseph) and Ann Marie Betterly. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joseph's honor to St. John the Baptist Byzantine Church, 5 E. 20th Street, Hazleton PA 18201.
