He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Peterson and Edith Peterson (Johnson); his siblings, Chuck Peterson, Lucille Stewart, Lois Stewart, Helen Faust and Ruth Ann Kwiatkowski; and his daughter Charlene "Charlie" Farr.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Mary Berkhous; his children, Kevin Peterson (Brenda), Jenifer Gustafson, Marcy Peterson (Jeff Herron) and Wendy Kuchenbrod (Wade); his sister Vivian Moon; his extended family, Christina Eliason (David), Sallie Ross (Eric), Jerry Berkhous Jr. (Shalee) and Dan Farr; and his former wife Deanna Rice. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
