It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Enid Veite of Stump Creek, Pennsylvania, born in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 9, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Blaine Slick Sr. and Jean Grace Slick (Hetrick); her husbands, Ronald E. Long, Sr., Robert E. Long, Sr. and James Veite; her sons, Tomothy Long and James Long Sr.; her grandson James Long Jr.; and her siblings, Edger Slick Jr., Elizabeth Stewart and Margaret Slick.
She is survived by: her children, Esther Reed of Punxsutawney and Ronald Long (Kelly) of Luthersburg; her grandchildren, Maggie Aikens (Greg), Holly Long, Erin Paul (Jeff) and Ben Long; her great grandchildren, Melia, Carter, Rayna, James, Charles and Adah; and her close friend Connie Ross of Punxsutawney.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Dorothy's memory to the American Heart Association.
