He is survived by: his children, David Gary McCain (Bethann) and Wendy McCain Hammerstone; his grandchildren, Maranda Hammerstone (Andrew Xie), Abril Hammerstone (Justin Schwendemann), Gavin Hammerstone (Katie McMaster), Dannielle McCain and Megan McCain; his sister Patricia Williams McCain; and his nieces, Judy Stevens (Jeffrey) and Jeanne Pounder (Richard).
