We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2022, at the age of 86, Shirley Katz of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold I. Katz; her parents, Isadore "Izzy" Kaplan and Anna Kaplan (Markowitz); her sister Evelyn; and her brother-in-law David Nachamie.

She is survived by: her children, Rochelle Gager (Fred) of Maryland, Howard Katz of Stroudsburg and Felicia Katz of Stroudsburg; her grandchildren, Abigail Katz, Ashley Katz, Aaron Gager, Michael Gager, Aimee Gager and Nate Gager; and her brother Sidney Katz (Harriet) of Colorado. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
