Scott A. Valenze Jr. Obituary
Scott A. Valenze, Jr., 32, of Stroudsburg, died Friday, February 10, 2023 in Long Beach Island, New Jersey.
Born on January 11, 1991 in East Stroudsburg, he was a lifetime resident of Monroe County and his jobs included Great Wolf Lodge, Camelback Lodge, Jones Farms, Kimbells Farm, and Josie Porter Farm.
Scotty was a graduate of Pocono Mountain High School.
Scotty had many passions. His truest passion was music. He played bass, guitar, classical guitar, and created digital music. He was involved in multiple bands: POW WOW, Out of the Red, and his latest Gnome Hoard. He also had solo projects that he did for fun like Jamz in the Dark. Of his many interests, Scotty enjoyed nature the most. Hiking, gardening, fishing, camping, going to the beach and flying his kite were his favorite activities. He loved playing games, cooking and studying everything and anything. He had a thirst for knowledge and was always open minded, seeking to understand. He was also a big fan of anime, sleeping and saving money! He loved spending time with his "Bee", his friends and his family.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Stacey Stewart and husband Guy Collins of Albrightsville; a brother, Mike Valenze; a sister, Angelia Quiles and husband Kristian of Miami, FL; his nephew Joshua Quiles; his girlfriend of eleven years, Erica Lubeski of Stroudsburg; a half sister, Jennie Valenze of Canadensis; paternal grandmother, Shirley Valenze; uncle, Matthew Valenze; many other aunts and uncles and cousins in the Stewart family; and his fur babies, Marceline and Finnegan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Scott A. Valenze, Sr..
Scott's life will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 21, from 6:00 to 8:00PM at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made by: listening to music (especially STP, Kyuss, The Melvins, Alice in Chains, Tool) reading, communing with nature, and never taking anything for granted.
