He was predeceased by: his spouse Beverly (Allen); his parents, Russell C. Transue and Grace Transue (Repsher); and his siblings, Russell Transue and Norma Transue.
He is survived by: his children, Diane M. LaBarre (Kim) of Lancaster, Kenneth A. Transue (Lori) of Whitehaven and Christine Eilenberger (Mike Loney) of Stroudsburg; his grandchildren, April McFadden, Amy Hunter, Mathew LaBarre, Kristen LaBarre, Jesse Transue, Joe Transue, Zachery Transue, Hillary Moser, James M. Eilenberger and Richard P. Eilenberger; and his brothers, Albert Transue of Easton and Ross Transue of East Stroudsburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
